A pair of majolica figurines c. 1900.I don't know the country of origin .There are no signs of damage. The double figure is 9 3 /4" tall and the single is 8 3/4 " they are handpainted
This is a rare find! Royal Doulton Flambe elephant in the large size,12 5/8" tall. It was designed by Charles Noke and not issued until two years (1938)before he died. It stayed in production until 1968. This elephant has his trunk down and is no. H N 1121.
This etruscan swan cheese keeper is one of two majolica cheese dish patterns made by the Pa. co. Griffin,Smith &Hill. IT IS RARE! This example is in excellent condition, no chips no cracks or repairs!There is a small glaze skip on the under side of the bottom that was done in the firing.This is not to be considered damage.See last picture.
